ABOUT US
Doors of Healing has been a staple within Lansing, Michigan serving the community for over 30 years. We have operated youth programs, family gatherings, unity events, empowerment series and much, much more. We were founded in 1987 in Lansing, Michigan. The church began with a Word from God and a step of faith by Pastor Erlene Sudduth and her family.
The Lord ignited a spark that became a fire that built this church that has flourished under the leadership of Pastor Erlene Sudduth. Her servant heart brought forth a vision to share the gospel of Christ Jesus and make disciples where love and unity are fostered within the Body of Christ. The ministry has grown from a high school auditorium rental space to its current home at 900 E. Mt Hope Blvd, Lansing Michigan 48915. Pastor Sudduth understood her mandate and set out to fulfill the mission God had placed in her heart.
Pastor Erlene Sudduth was called into ministry over 40 years ago. She was ordained in 1980 by Pastor Howard Davenport. She studied Theology under the tutelage of Pastor Raymond Coleman. She has preached and taught the Word far and near, and has been a regular guest speaker at Women’s Aglow Fellowship, AKA Aglow International. Her nurturing nature and humor has drawn many young adults to the ministry with a strong following from Michigan State University. At one point, you would have thought it was the University’s ministry. Pastor Sudduth is often called upon by local government and civil leaders to lead prayers for the Michigan Legislature. Her contributions and passion has been acknowledged throughout the great state of Michigan.
Pastor Sudduth is supported and married to business leader, Coleman Sudduth for over 50 years. They are the proud parents of four children who have gone on to build their careers and ministries respectively.
